Plan Today for Your Protection Tomorrow

We think it’s wise to consider long-term care (LTC) when evaluating your overall financial plan. Pre-planning can help reduce financial stress while giving you and your family financial reassurance.

Our LTC Planning Checklist

Health care is one of the largest costs during retirement, and long-term care is no exception. We can help you plan for LTC needs by:

  • Discussing the daily living challenges a loved one may be facing now or in the future.
  • Performing a review of your current assets to establish the kind of care you can afford.
  • Helping navigate the options to cover expenses, including traditional long-term care insurance policies, hybrid policies, Medicaid, and self-funding.
  • Working together to create a definitive financial plan to help meet your LTC needs.
  • Providing regular checkpoints to help you stay on course and adapt to changing needs.

These policies have exclusions and/or limitations. Guarantees are based on the claims paying ability of the issuing company. Long Term Care Insurance or Asset Based Long Term Care Insurance Products may not be suitable for all investors. Surrender charges may apply for early withdrawals and, if made prior to age 59 ½, may be subject to a 10% federal tax penalty in addition to any gains being taxed as ordinary income. The cost and availability of Long Term Care insurance depend on factors such as age, health, and the type and amount of insurance purchased. Please consult with your financial professional when considering insurance options.
